Stop people from downloading .MOV files?

Is there anyway to stop people from downloading .MOV files from a website that they are embedded into? It doesn't sound like it's possible because there is always a way to get it if they really wanted. However is there anything I can do to atleast make it harder for them to download them?

I can't think of any feasible way, short of changing the file names frequently with a cron job or some sort.

A flash player would make it harder.

Do you just want to block .MOV files, or is it okay if all similar media gets blocked? Also, where do you want this implemented? At a school? home? business?

Soul, I don't think he wants to block people on his network from downloading files from sites. I think what he wants is to protect the content he is putting on his site.

Big, ugly watermark across the screen might deter most, but some would still do it.

I second that, make some form of watermark that is visible but doesn't obstruct the entire thing, but enough to annoy someone if they wanna use the file over and over... Free advertisement that way also.
