I have two HP CP1215 Color Laserjets.. they were cheap, they were purchased before I got here. They're also discontinued by HP. There are numerous complaints on google (all on reviews) about it being slow. I've looked through the properties and preferences and found nothing I can change to speed it up.
The printer has no LCD on it. It goes in to hibernate after about three minutes and takes 30 seconds to come out. The people that print to it (locally) will print probably once every five minutes. I want to find a way to either increase the print speed (while lowering the quality) or take off the hibernate.. maybe make it to after 30 minutes go in to hibernate. Only problem is there are no options for this.
I know this is pretty specific... I doubt anyone has the discontinued printer, but it's worth a try.
