Speed Up Roaming Profiles in WinXP

Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to speed up login/logout time on WinXP Pro machines. The machines are on a domain, and use roaming profiles.

I have taken the steps to eliminate such things as browser cache in the profile, but it still takes several minutes.

There has to be a better way to speed up this process other than cleaning out the profiles every so often.

Please help if you have any idea of where I should begin, or if you can point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Not really an option

That would definitely same time, but the computers are on a network where the users need to be authenticated...not logging on is not an option.
