Itiot-teers saying "nothing wrong" launch ok, knowing that the external fuel tank hit the shuttle on seperation! having an isralie (sp?) on board to extend world peace and we freakin get him killed. that is going to help american world relations.

It was a freak accident. No one is to blame...

I feel bad for the families of those on board.

The first indication of a potential problem occurred minutes before 9 a.m. EST, when there was a loss of temperature sensors on the shuttle's left wing, said Ron Dittemore, the program manager. During Columbia's liftoff, a piece of insulating foam from the fuel tank was believed to have hit that wing.
