i cannot get any sound out of m y lab-top. i normally use a speaker system i bought with sub woofer. but today i unplugged it and it and i cannot here any thing out of my speakers from the lab-top. what happen? they used to work. i have a dell inspiron 8200

Did you try another audio cable that goes from the speakers to the computers headphone jack?

Is everything powered okay?

Do you have the proper drivers installed on the laptop for audio.

What audio device is listed under the Device Manager?

yes i checked everything the speaker sound is cranked. how do i find s What audio device is listed under the Device Manager?
