That's a good start. As thebleakness pointed out, the best way to learn it is to constantly play around with photoshop.

One thing that I found really helped was this site:

It has TONS of tutorials on practically everything for photoshop

I tried pimping out a car, like I got the a new paint job and it looks really good, but the rim part was hard.

I tried skew but that didnt work

It has TONS of tutorials on practically everything for photoshop

This is how i've practiced.

Just pick a specific category and just start picking tutorials. Go from start to finish with each one you pick. I'd say i've done close to 500 tutorials from that site. The only way to get better is to practice...

I know & use about 40% of photoshops functions and options.

Im no pro myself by all means, good start ^^;, but what is that? Wave recording simulation ? XD

Whatever it is, if its what I thought it is than cool, if not, good start anyway messing with the program is the only way to learn lol.
