Some kind of smell

Hey, for a couple of weeks now my pc is emitting a strange smell when im playing graphical intensive game. Today i tried to do a couple of stress tests, CPU stress test is normal, when i tried furmark, the smell came back, when i tried both my pc locked up. I believe that my power supply is jacked up, i believe its even an OEM.

Any comment?

If you're getting an odor it means something is over heating or a cap has popped.
Need you to list the parts in your system. Or is it a pre built?

I changed the PSU, now there is no smell, even after the burn in test, thanks anyway

Good thing you did, it would've taken out your system.

By the way, don't wait to see what's the deal is, look into it for any unusual smell or sound.

I took apart the PSU and i found 4 burn spots and a burned wire, so yah...
