Afternoon All,
i know a bit about overclocking. Like raise the FSB until you hit problem then very slgihtly raise the voltage then when you hit success raise FSB a lil more while constantly checking temps and if poss running stress tests?
Sound about right? well thats what ive been doing with past builds.
now i have come across a e2160 with 2Gb 667Mhz RAM on an ECS 945GCT-M2 which is quiet frankly not good at all. i know from previous experience that these e2160's and 2180's can hit 2.8 with ease usually the 3ghz club with not alot of trouble.
problem i have is this pants motherboard wont let me adjust the FSB voltage or anything !! is there any software that could help me unleash the power of this CPU?
