Software for Temperate and Fan Monitoring

Hey, simply...Been getting into overclocking and cooling recently but i'm seriously paranoid my GPU fan might cut out and i may not know about it! This actually happened, got knows how long it was broken for (it was melted off!) but luckily the card survived! Anyway...Simply don't want this happening again.

So, i was wondering if there was any program that would monitor all fan/temperature activity, including the ability to shutdown if a fan stops or slows etc?

i believe speedfan has all those capabilities but it takes some tweaking. i found a few examples by googling so look around.
