At least in US you don't get a ticket for talking on the phone while driving, 160 euros! My dad got one, now has a bluetooth thank god.

Speeding for once : 300 euros
Speeding for once drunk : 300 euros + 6 month license removal
Not wearing seatbelt : 60 euros
etc

That has actually changed, there are several states in the US now that make it illegal to talk on the cell phone while driving w/out a hands free set. Here in California the new law will be effective July 2008.

I'd be happy with people talking on the phone, its these idiots TEXTING while driving that are the real menace now. The older i get, the more i think raising the driving age is a good idea. Stupid kids. GET OFF MY LAWN.

I've been pulled over many times, but once I wasn't, hehe. Several years ago I was driving to work (late as usual) with my motorbike. I run red lights (but hey, they were green before that) and then I heard a loud siren behind me. I decided that wasn't for me and just gave it some more throttle. A few tight turns and one narrow sidewalk shortcut to work and all was good.
