Hi! I have a Dell Inspiron 1150 laptop running Windows XP Pro.
Lately my homepage has been changed to www.yoursystemupdate.com and I keep getting messages saying my computers infected. I stupidly downloaded SpyAxe or something like that. I tried Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware, counterspy but you have to pay. It wont let me delete the smitfraud as it says it's used in the memory.
Can anyone please help me get rid of this as it's serioulsy screwing the computer up and I need to use it.

Thanks for any input,

Knoxville :)

Just gone on the micro trend site and it's scanning now..... I doubt it will let me get rid of it as Spybot didnt.

Thanks anyway....
