I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with an issue I'm having. I'm trying to "hack" the credits in a slot machine game. I'm using cheat engine 5.4 (I know that 5.5 is available I just prefer 5.4) Here is the issue. The game will only open in full-screen mode. Once I Alt-Tab (or try any other variation of the similar thing) It will close upon re-opening. What I mean is, I can open the game in fullscreen, Alt-tab and it will minimize to the task bar, but will not restore. This is an issue because each time I have to reopen the program, it changes the programs address.
Im not trying to hack an online game, this is all done on a pretty old slot machine game running windows 98. I really don't have any reason to need to know how to do this, it's just one of those things that is driving me nuts, if anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.
