Someone burned a copy of Sim City 4 for me, but when I try to play it, it say Please insert the correct CD ROM. I tried taki9ng the exe file in thecrack folder of disc one and overwriting the one on my HD and now when I try to play the game, nothing happens. I have also tried downloading file to overwrite the exe file and Sim City 4 started, but whenever I try to go into a city, it closes. Is there any files I can get or use on my HD to play the game? Thanks in advance. I don't know much about computers.

well,...i first installed it in a different directory( in my 2nd partition),...then i had your problem,...i uninstalled and rebooted. cleaned all traces of the previous install,..installed it to C: ..applied the crack...and BOOM! its up. always reboot after installing. try that,..if it fails....lets see what we can come up with.
hmmm...now thats weird..thats the problem with these copies..you're lucky if its a good one....hmm...try this...get a simcity 4 key gen...and use that instead of the original code that came with the cd...im not sure of this ..but at this point,..there's no harm in trying

no no no! Its the CD...theres a file missing on the CD burned copy that never gets copied over to allow it to run! You gotta go download the No CD Crack for Sim City 4
