"Show Icon in Notification Area When Connected" Not Working!

Hi...this is my first thread at this site. I use Juno Dial-Up Internet on a WinXP Pro desktop. I go to my internet properties, check the Show Icon in Notification Are When Connected box, click ok, connect, but it never shows up. I just have to recheck the box after I connect.
