People spend top dollar on heatsinks because they want the best temps they can get before stepping into water or other expensive cooling methods.
But the AC 7 is probably the best bang for your buck though. It wont give beat the top dogs like the Ultra 120 Extreme and such, but it will put up a good fight for how cheap it is.
