Hello. If I download Seti@Home..what will really happen to my internet bill?

Nothing as long as YOU don't go over your limit. It works as a screen saver, (only working when the system is idle) and only interacts with the severs a few times a day (if needed) and those times are usually very quick. They don't send huge work packets unless you request it.

As Nukem said, these distributed computer programs download fairly small data packages and uploads the results which are usually a bit bigger.
