service pack 1 microsoft XP

I downloaded the service pack for Xp and when I go to install it I get an error message that says "Setup can not verify the integrity of file update info. Make sure the cryptographic service is running on this computer." I go to find files and type in cryptographic and can not find anything, I have no idea what this error message means. Anybody help me out? Thanks.

i think the cryptographic is a service running.. it might not be running for some odd reason.. check in your services
