Server Build:- Any advice?

Yeah, but with some plug-ins you can see what data is on what drive.
Ah, OK :). Do you know of any sites listing the plugins? Would be interesting to see. Also, whats to say which drive it would choose for the OS? It could choose one of the 1TB ones?

This is one I used, they have rearranged it since my last visit though: http://forum.wegotserved.co.uk/index.php?autocom=downloads

This one has a little different selection:
http://mswhs.com/category/add-ins/

Browsing through, neither have the addon showing where specific things are (what drive). If I can find it, I'll send you the link. If not, you should be able to configure it in the advanced tools from the server.

Just like installing XP or vista you can choose your drive you install on. I would have to break out the manual again, but I do believe I read somewhere that it's best to only have one drive in for install, and add the rest after the install of the OS.

OK, Thanks. On another note - will 620Watt be enough for those parts?

Thanks again!

That should be plenty. You are not going to be running a high performance video card. :)

EDIT: Now that I look at it, why are you even buying a video card? If the server has onboard video, just use that.

Is that card necessary though? is there a 6200 or something you can find? After all, you only really need the video card during the OS install. After that everything can be done with the connection software on the remote computers.

Yeah, I realise that, but if we want to do some video rendering, there can be some low level 3D effects that could require SOME 3d acceleration... maybe :p

Bump :D
