Isn't that kinda shitty though? Doesn't it mean that every time you wipe your harddrive and do a fresh install you need to first install Vista then download the upgrade to 7 AND THEN install Windows 7? I guess for some it might not be worth saving $90...like me for instance (but I am still happy with XP)
With most previous Microsoft upgrades you could do a clean install of the upgrade, the upgrade would have you put the old OS disk in the drive and the installation software would confirm that you had it and continue the clean install of the upgrade. I don't know if Win 7 will work this way, but I would expect it.
If they try that bullshit, I'll go on a killing spree with only MS employees in my sights!
If you want to hurt them where it counts, run linux.
