Sending files between computers

I have two computers hooked up on a router, but I find it troublesome that I have to always use AIM to send my files to the other computer. Is there another method to send files easier?

You can share a folder. Setup an FTP server, or put the files on a CD.

I have XP on my new computer and ME on the old one. How can I share a folder?

right click the folder > share folder
