Hi everyone,

one of my friends has his computer power supply flow up. He needs his data from his SCSI hard drive to transfer to my SCSI hard drive for temperately. Here what i am going to do that i will unplug his SCSI hard drive and plug in to my computer than copy all the data to my hard drive, will this work? thanks

if you have plug and play...it should work fine...I mean if you have scsi capabilities it should be ok...

does it have to be same mother board or something ?

If there is just data and your not trying to boot to the OS installed on your friends drive. If there is an OS on that particular drive you will be fine.
