Screwing the Network Admin

well, just to see, and it works, but doens't work that well. our site is blocking Anonymous proxies...
:)

These days admins are pretty anal about security, especially since it means their jobs if they are lax on it. At a school, that network is gonna be LOCKED DOWN. I know when I was in high school, my admin did not mess around. He knew what he was doing, and had that network air tight. The heartache is not worth it, and you would face expulsion by messing with him. The network admin at your school is prolly one of the highest paid members of administration, therefore he has lots of power. I'm fairly certain too, not to be conascending, that he is far smarter than you are and will screw you five times harder than anything you can do to him.

To be blunt, forget about messing with him. Move on, it would only be fun until you get caught. and then it will suck hard.

Fair enough. I know my knowledge about everything tech related pales in comparison to the tech guy at our school - no offense taken. I guess from now on I will just sit there like a retard and do all my internet and CD-ROM work at home.

We have the same thing at school but the guy has only blocked the bad sites ( BUT GOOGLE ) if you go on some porn website for exampleit will block it, if u search the site on google it will pass. They took google out but thats like the only thing we use at our school. Thats the main search engine. Anyway, When I bypass the pages I want, just click refresh a bunch of times and it bypasses, but this will get annoying. Talk to the school managment. They will do something about it. At our school you can do anything you want basically but if you are cought, you will get 10+ days of suspension depending on what it is.

EDIT: also try writing a letter to the school newspaper. They wil make a big deal out of it. Make sure you abck up your idea with good sites like encarta and email users. Hope everything goes well.

At my school we have a whole bunch of networked or mainframed computers or whatever. And the IT guy sits in his little room monitoring all of us. However he has gone too far! He blocks access to our email accounts, which a lot of us need for carrying out research, and he blocks almost every website, sites such as encarta.com and bbc.com. It has gotten to the point that doing research, assignments, and school work at school using the internet is pointless. Whenever, you go on the net a screen appears saying what we can and can't do, attempting to bypass the security is one of them, does that mean that if we successfully bypass the security we won't get in trouble?! Is there a way to mess with this guy so that I can be a reble and access my emails and encarta.com whenever I want to?

Quit yer whining and go clean your room!
