Just out of curiosity, is there such a thing as a monitor (any kind of screen, really) that looks like native resolution at multiple resolutions? I know CRTs do this, but I'm talking about something thin like an LCD. I can't seem to find any information about this. Thanks for your help.

Not that I have ever heard of. A LCD is a completely different animal than a CRT.

LCD's have a set number of pixels, so I'm guessing no. That would be pretty cool if they did, though :)

Well considered there is only 3 types of screens that are thin.

LCD, Plasma and the new LED. All of which have a set number of pixels. So the answer is always going to be no.

There are only 2 popular ones actually, LED is just the type of backlight. With that logic ELP, CCFL and HCFL backlights are different categories of screens altogether too.
