SATA Drives :D

I sold my old IDE drive and getting 2x Maxtor diamondmax plus9 SATA drives. Im going to run them in raid 0.

I am all sorted, getting 2 harddrives, 2 sata leads, floppy drive and discs lol.

Basicly im wondering if im correct... Im going to set them up in my case and then switch on my computer and then hit TAB on bootup to setup my array, choosing my raid 0 and saving.

Then once done i will install XP hit F6 and install the drivers from the floppy. Will this be it? Will it take the 160GB raid 0?

Nice to see how helpful you guys are when most are using SATA. Jeez..i kinda made sure myself tht alls good. Downloaded the maxtor files, even makes the floppy for me..yey.

Should work - you have it covered much better than most people. FYI you don't really need any disks from maxtor. You can format in the Windows XP setup, and all you need are the motherboard (or your controller card if not onboard) drivers. That is what windows xp needs when you press f6. Good luck!
