Again I'm new to my computer class but I have a question about N Routers. When it says it can go up to 300 Mbs, is that how fast the transmission can go or is that the capacity in the network that the router can run? Seems simple to some of you I know but I dont know the answer. Thanks.

I'm not sure I understand what the difference in your two questions is?
300 MB means that it can transfer files at 300 MB (under ideal conditions of course).

Wireless N routers have radio bandwidth, which allows you to connect to a network without wires. Then quite often wireless routers have a network switch inside that allows you to connect more than one ethernet cable to the wireless router, that network switch having it's own wired bandwidth such as 10Mbs, 100Mbs, or 1000Mbs (Gigabit).

What wireless router are you refering to with a 300Mbs bandwidth?
