Ringtones on a Motorola E815

Hey Everyone...

So I have a song that I took from my computer, chopped it to about 30 sec. long in Audacity, and exported it as an MP3 with LAME.

When I insert my Trashflash card into my phone, do the txt msg to fake #, and insert a sound, I browse to the Transflash card. However, it pops up saying that there is no file to attach to the message.

This is wierd cause i did the same exact technique, and it worked perfectly. I try to do it with a few different songs, and now it doesn't work.

I've also tried exporting it with 24 & 32bit rate, to no avail.

Any ideas on what I can do???

i have that phone and it is extremely picky. A lot of files won't work, you just have to keep trying. I ended up modding mine to be the E815m (media version) so it has bluetooth transfer (OBEX) , mp3 player, and you can apply anything you want as a ringtone (even stuff you sent to it).
