I suppose ambidextrous could be construed as having an equall amout of proficiency with your nondiminant hand in a comparable range of skills as your dominant hand. There are a lot of skills where it doesnt matter so much which hand is dominant as to which hand your learning with as well. Its neet that people tend to have a dominent leg that corresponds to there dominent hand as well; one of the challenges I found in martial arts was to over come that, I learned Tae Kwon Do wich is heavy on the kicking end, my left leg could never do what my brain told it, while I was exceptional with my right, and strangley both my left and right hands seemed very close in my abillity to perform. When golfing I'm also more comfortable holding the club cross handed than the way I was tought.
