ribbin cable

so my friend gave me a phone but the screen wasnt working
have taking it apart ive found that the ribbion cable is torn
whats my best solution in fixing this?

Find a repair shop that handles those phones and see of you can get a replacement. . . Contact the manufacturer. . . Are there any local electronics supply houses near you?

look on the internet for a new ribbon cable if its a well known popular phone there is bound to be a website out there selling repair parts

I think it depends on the phone... for some, the ribbon is attatched to the LCD, and for some it's seperate. You could either buy a new LCD or a new Ribbon...
