RH Makes to cores act as one so single threaded applications can use multiple cores at once.

Rumors are going around that AMD has put reverse hyperthreading into all there current AM2 cpus. A simple driver/bios update will be able to upgrade it.

Anyone think this is true?

that would be insane... I don't think it'd work... but if it did you'd be looking at your 2Ghz dualcore as a 4Ghz... This certainly would be the Conroe killer haha 1 $150 dollar dual core that reams anything...

If it were true, how would multi-tasking be? Would it still be as good as having two cores?

They say it will be able two switch inbetween. (turn it on or off)

Bah! Humbug!

I don't believe it, its not coming for another 2 years, atleast. If ever, that is.

But I like this guy's comment;

**** all speculations. Who knows what to believe anymore? Only time will tell.

Rumors. I have a feeling that since all of these bizarre claims are going around, Conroes will not be as cheap as I hoped.... :(

Nothing's impossible, but...
