restore to factory settings F11 button wont work

Hi, I am trying to reset a mates computer to factory settings but the F11 button will not work but everything else does, i am using vista, i have tryed another keyboard in the computer but still does not fix the problem. I have no reset discs as my mate brought this computer second hand. How can I overcome the problem? Also I have just relized my network adaptor driver has ! next to it in the boot order not sure if that has anything to do with it

Hi,

With the old tiny systems you need to hold the F11 key not just tap it once.

Then that starts up the factory reset facility from the backup partition. You don't need a disc to do this.

Friend has just had the same problem.

I would reccomend that you get a windows disc however as that way you can rfemove all of the pre loaded tiny crap.
