Repainting my laptop...question?

Well i have an acer aspire one, and I installed mac on it, and i was thinking, wouldnt it be awesome if i had a white paint job on this baby? So i sanded down the paint from the top cover and I will be finishing the rest this week. I have to take it apart first though, but thats no problem.

Now my question is, even on matte plastic, should I be using primer before i put on many, many, many, coats of white spray paint? If i use primer, how many light coats of that do I put?

because everything works perfectly fine except wifi, which i have ordered a replacement card from ebay which works fine apparently.

plus, the acer aspire one is a 9 inch laptop, so i love to have a tiny macbook lol

Prime then lightly sand to smooth it out. Then prime again followed by a lighter sanding. Follow that up using light coats of the color you want. Sand lightly as needed between coats.
I would normally use a clear coat on top when it's all finished to protect the paint.
