Removing software without a CD

I have several programs that are old on my computer and it needs a CD to uninstall and i dont have it anymore i need help trying to remove them i got a Windows XP home edition and i also have snagit 8 and i cant remove it either so can someone help me please.

you can do it either two ways. The first way is the easiest which would be to format your computer. If it is only 1 or 2 programs than the best way would be to delete the files manually and remove them from the registry. If you do not know anything about the registry than do not attemp to remove things from there. You can seriously damage your computer if you delete something wrong out of the registry.

Can you list the names of the Applications which you want to remove from Add\Remove Programs list
