reminders not working. message on startup " some tasks did not execute at their scheduled time because Task Scheduler Service was not running ............" mscalendar, phatsoft and calendar1q11 set for time and date. checked msconfig all startup programs running. dont see a taskmon though. please advise

using xp. taskmon is not listed in startup. all startup apps are running

You got to have the computer ON on the particular time when the reminder is supposed to work and the scheduler must be running in the background or in the taskbar.

msconfig doesn't show taskmon in startup or services. it appears task scheduler has disappeared from my apps. my os is xp home. ps task scheduler is programmed in system tools but oddly enough doesn't do its job. please advise
