Not really. Those that know him will know it is not true. Those who don't know him and wish to believe it, well f***'em. Who cares what they think, and letting the situation bother you is only going to allow the other person to win because then that means they achieved the goal they were going for.
To sit there and fight back and forth would be childish in my opinion. Hell if it was me I would roll with it and if some dude asked if it was true, I would say hell ya it's true and then I would wink at him. Might as well have fun with it.
