Reading anyone?

I was a prolific reader when I was younger; not so much anymore-- between work, family and the internet, it takes me much longer to read a book through.

Of course, it doesn't help that I have set myself to proofreading digital versions of some of my favorite books-- the publishers (or whomever digitizes teh book) tend to just run the damn things through the scanner and never bother to correct any errors... and, of course, there are errors that were in the original printings, as well: duplicated sentences, obvious spelling errors, and such.

Anyway, so yes, I read, but I am much slower at it now.

Currently, I am reading Jack Chalker's Soul Rider series, i have a book from the library called The Big Con by David W. Maurer, which is about the evolution of the confidence game in America.

I read the Game of Thrones books before the series came out, but haven't gotten to the last one, yet... kind of don't want to get caught up in it again only to find I will have to wait another five years for the next volume, you know?
