Hi, i am using ramdisk software so i can use 1gb of my ram as if its a hard drive so i can use that directory as for my temp folders to increase performance and decrease the amount of writes on my ssd.

I havnt learnt much about RamDisk's, are they safe and ok to use? Is it ok to do windows updates? seeing as once you turn the pc off everything in ram is wiped, and some windows updates requires you to restart the carry on with the update when the pc gets turned back on again?

They're perfectly safe, as long as you create an image of the disk on shutdown, and restore the image on startup. Otherwise, the data on that drive will be in jeopardy. As for windows updates, that shouldn't affect the ramdisk at all. It should only change things inside of the Windows directory, which should be your C:\ drive.
