RAM - What to look for?

Hmm what's your MSN? I can't find you hahahaha, probably because I don't know how to use MSN.

Yeah, the speed is more important than the latency, although lower latency will increase performance.
 
Latencies only matter for numbers, it wont affect actual everyday applications. Latencies also affect overclocks. It affects how high your RAM is going to to overclock. Say for instance PC-6400 CAS3 (which is quite expensive) compared to PC-6400 CAS5, the CAS3 will overclock a lot higher.
 
For Intels, good RAM is a huge plus. Since the RAM needs to run 1:1 or higher with the FSB. Or else the cpu will be starving for memory bandwidth.
