I currently own the Packard Bell iXtreme M3720 Desktop/PC or (X5620 UK) see Product Model for spec.

I want to upgrade my RAM to this one, Kingston 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 1066MHz/PC2-8500 HyperX.. | Ebuyer.com.

I have 3 main questions,

1. will it be able to achieve the full 1066Mhz
2. Will it be compatible with my PC
3. Will it make any difference on my PC, windows index rating currently 5.5 for RAM and CPUID says im running each module (pc26400) 400mhz

Thanks in advance
Sam

Go to crucial.com

look for there scanner, they will scan your system, tell you what memory you have, and what you can replace it with.

Now, unfortunately, your system seems to have DDR3 800, which will bottleneck your new RAM. Instead of going at full 1066MHz, it will be at 800MHz.

Unless the memory that is currently in the computer is being replaced (as in removed and new memory put in in its place).

Indeed, but IMO, I don't think he'll remove them, but if he does remove the old RAM, he can achieve 1066MHz.
