Ram Upgrade

Hi, I have a 'Time computer' which is old so decided to upgrade the ram. So I bought a 256mb, SDRAM, PC133 DIMM memory module ,Here it is - http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/st...m=null&tm=null&sku=306698&category_oid=-28003

I have installed it but my pc gets stuck on boot up. When i take it out my pc boots up fine.

Any ideas?

have you checked if that type of ram is compatible

I went on crucial.com and put the details of my pc in and it reccomends this - http://www.crucial.com/store/mpartspecs.asp?mtbpoid=94B61F23A5CA7304

Did i get the right module?

does your computer support extra ram?... could you give us the specs?

according to the net it supports 768mb, and has 3 banks, so it should work from what i can tell. Have ya tried ya new RAM on its own? Might be faulty

Well i'm pretty sure its not faulty as i got it brand new from pc world. Should i try it on its own without the other RAM?
