Ram timings

put the OCZs in and sell the Tracers, most people never even actually use all 4GBs anyway, what do you do on your computer that you need more RAM...? you could probably get anywhere from $20-$30 USD for the Tracers, that would make it a really cheap 2GB upgrade...

^ this...

if you don't have enough RAM, adding RAM will make it faster, if you have enough RAM (4GBs is plenty for 99% of the users out there) adding more won't make it any faster...

If you have a 32bit operating system, having any more than 3GB of ram won't be used unless you have a 64bit.

And in the case of having a 64bit, as wolvarine and allendale mentioned above.. you will not notice any difference in speed if you add more RAM.

there's no video card listed in his sig, so he will probably get as close to using all 4GBs as anyone running a 32 bit OS, but not all 4GBs worth...

having 4gb is always best.

true, even if the OP can't use all 4GBs, he'll probably be able to use at least 3.5GBs (probably more), so yeah, 4GBs is pretty much an ideal amount of RAM for most systems right now, and considering how cheap RAM is this is pretty much a no brainer, like I said before, you could get the 4GBs and sell the one's you have for half the amount of the new RAM and it would be like getting the new RAM for half price, you can't beat that...
