4 questions, need help!
ok guys i got 4 questions...ill post my system that ive decided on so far...plz help me out and EXPLAIN why i should do something, i want to learn about it before i decide...
heres my system so far...
MOBO - DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
CPU - AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice Integrated into Chip FSB Socket 939 Processor Model ADA3200BPBOX - Retail
CASE - A-TOP XBlade AT859A-BL Blue/Silver Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 450W Power Supply - Retail
HARD DRIVE - Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 SATA NCQ ST3120827AS 120GB 7200 RPM Serial ATA150 Hard Drive - OEM
MONITOR - NU QL-711V 2-Tone 17" 8ms LCD Monitor - Retail
DVD BURNER - NEC Black IDE DVD Burner Model ND-3520A - OEM
OS - Microsoft Windows XP Pro Edition
im hoping i can run HL2 on high settings with decent FPS (60-70+) and play other games on high settings (realistic?)...i will also use this comp for burning cds and dvds, listening to music, and watching dvds. this will be my college computer...

1)which RAM should i get?

OCZ EL Platinum Revision 2 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit System Memory - Retail
is the extra $45 worth it for the OCZs?
and plz make sure theyre compatible w/ my lanparty becuase i heard they had probs w/ some RAM...thx
2)as for a video card i am getting a 6600GT...which brand should i get?
MSI / Leadtek / eVGA....plz give reasons why i should choose one!
3) i decided to get xp pro because i think the college im going to only allows xp pro...question is should i get SP2 or not because i heard HL2 has glitchy issues with it, should i get SP1 or no SP maybe?
4) the computer specialist said i dont need a new PSU and the 450 watter i got with my case will due because im not running 2 vid cards or anything like that...i dont plan on going to 2 vcs soon but if i do i will definetly get a new PSU...do i need a new PSU and what kind should i get (under $75 hopefully plz?)...please explain for me...
