i got 4 free sticks of RAM.... from somewhere o_O... =P i don't need to tell you...

i was told that they need to be the same speeds.. so here they are

what i'm using now:
512mb 1rx8 pc2-4200u-444-12-a1

and the free one (i have 2 of these):
512mb 1rx8 pc2-4200u-444-12-d3

and another free one (also have 2):
1gb ddr2 pc2-4200 240p

if i had to guess i'd guess that they wouldn't be compatible... excpecially not the 1 gigs, but if some were compatible i'd say the 512's were compatible but not the 1 gigs.... not that it matters.... so are they compatible???...

They probs would work give them ago fit them into your pc. If there the wrong ones your computer wont boot up if there not the wrong ones the computer will turn on.

It wont damage your pc in anyway try them and tell us how you got on...

Hope this helps.....

They are all compatible. They are all PC2-4200 DDR2. The timings may be a bit different, but they should all work well together. You can run two 512MB sticks along with the two 1GB sticks. Just make sure you have the same size modules on the same channel.
