Can someone please tell how you check your ram is running at right speed and how to set the speed.

Usually you can set that in the bios
What is the mod# and make of your mainbaord ?
This program may have the spped , you know I do not remeber I jusyt use it for checking ram.
DL, it will install a linux program onto a floppy that should be left in the floppy drive and the pc rebooted.

does your pc have a floppy, so many no longer do, there is also an image file that can be DL and burnt to a cd.

you have to DL the program, then run it...it will then create the linux floppy image....if you look at it in windows, windows will try to reformat the diskette.

Also CPUz will give you information about your ram speeds.

Same with Everest. All in one program. Only thing it can't do is overclock your PC for you, but it does run some benchmarks though.
