I just got an ASUS A8N5X mobo and in the manual theres a list of recomended brands and such of memory, but do I have to stick with thier list or I can I just go and get any stick I want?
For optimal performance it is better to stick with the list of supported ram modules if recommended by the manufacturer, other brands will run but i'd stick with the recommended ones if possible.
