I personally don't think that he did anything seriously wrong. Nothing that deserved his punishment anyway.

I don't think so, he was a genius then. But the internet has expanded and so many new technoglies have been created that he has allot catching up to do. His punishment was so harsh because he was to be the example to all hackers 'white or black hacks'... Plus it is so easy to forget more then most people know when your kevin..
