Quick Question

Yea that will work.

Try and get this memory though.

It's still 1GB just divided into 2 sticks, so you'll get Dual Channel mode, and these run at 400MHz PC3200 instead of 333MHz PC2700.

Just don't use your old RAM with the 400MHz RAM I mentioned cause it'll slow the new RAM down to PC2700 333MHz.

PC3200 is backwards compatible and will run at PC2700 speeds quite happily.

It's cheaper too. :D

Here's another thing I was looking at. If you look at the specs of the motherboard it says this:
Front Side Bus (FSB) - 400 / 333 / 266 MHz
PC3200 memory runs on a 400MHz FSB. So I'm thinking that if you use that memory, you can safely run it at it's rated speed.

Quite right.

The motherboard does support 400MHz RAM.

If I stuck to manufactures specs I would only be running PC3200 RAM.

As it turns out I run PC4000 RAM to give me the room to OC my set up.
