Can someone please tell me how i can host my own website?

or tell me how i can host my friends website using my connection cause i have a really good connection and bandwidth and all and i want to host him

so can someone please tell me how?

Major security threat, Your connection wont matter, its your upload that will matter! And Is your pc even on 24/7? I suggest getting hosted on a proper server, like mine lol. PM me if you need cheap hosting. Also, if your keen on the whole pc issue (baddd idea) Get apache on your system and got get a ftp server.

thats what i ment, i have a great upload and ya my pc is like on all day long

is their like a step by step tutorial on this? cause i cant pay for hosting (I'm 15)

Lol......what is your upload. Almost all connections are 256k and son, thats crap. And if your pc is "like" always on, then thats not going to be a good host. And ye, many tutorials if you google " apache, php setup".

Dont see how 15 is too young for hosting? Where do you live

no my upload is not 256k son

my upload is more like 900

and i dont have a job so thast why "Im too young" and im in NY, why?

do you no of a good tutorial?
