Questions: How to integrate a multiplayer online racing game with an authoritative server

I noticed this thread subject is a bit outdated. But I'll try. I am interested in integrating a multiplayer online racing game with a dedicated authoritative server, with the objective of minimizing cheating, and hacking. I am not an IT person. So far, I am exploring Forge Remastered, which has a menu setup. And I will take a look at Playfab. This seems to be a topic with somewhat few solutions, compared to setting up a game on a dedicated server, where the game components are basically on the players computers (client). If there are any suggestions, I would be very appreciative.
