I know this is going to sound really stupid because it is the very first step in using programs like Boost and Pyhton, but it tells me to type in the directory ./configure?
What directory am i looking for? and how do i open it up? because I feel retarded everytime I sit here and wonder what the hell I'm looking for.

ok stupid question. and i found the answer. i nee a tutorial called "hey, you are retarded, do this!"

Hold on a moment, I misread your original post.

No, you need to run the 'configure' script. You do this by opening the command prompt, changing directory to the same directory as the 'configure' script and typing
Code:
./configure

We need to know what OS you are using really.

I was running Ubuntu, but I figured it our. I spent the last three nights ****ing around with the command prompt. It was easier than I thought...

But thank you for the help it is greatly appreciated.
