Quest for Glory 5

Hi:
My favorite game QFG5 (Quest for Glory 5) doesn't run in my PC. My computer exceeds the requirements (Windows 2000NT, pentium III). The game is properly installed. When I click to play the screen only blinks for 2 seconds then nothing happens. For those who played QFG5 before do you know what seems to be the problem?

PS:I suspect it might the OS, the game ran in my old PC which used WIN98.

search on google for a patch for windows 2000, they are there!
